Day 1 : Ljubljana

Arrival at Ljubljana Airport and first contact with Slovenia. Collection of your vehicle inside the airport. Rental of a category C compact luxury vehicle, type Audi A3, including:

Day 2 : Ljubljana

Exploration of Lower Carniola. The day’s drive gives you the opportunity to appreciate the hills watered by rivers and covered with forests. Characteristic hay driers, restored castles and small villages line your route. You will discover another facet of the country where slow travel makes sense, in addition to the various landmarks that will cross your path: the Cistercian Abbey of Sticna, Bogensperk Castle and Zuzemberk Castle. Day 3 : Otocec

Private bear watching trip at the end of the day with your English-speaking guide. Meet with your guide to drive by jeep to the forest and surrounding hills. Day 4 : Brda Valley

All your senses in agitation: a day to discover the wine valleys . Discover the vineyards of the Vipava Valley, Slovenia’s wine-growing cradle, and its Vinotheque before heading to the region bordering Italy to explore the vineyards of Goriska Brda. This day will undoubtedly be one of your best memories in Slovenia. Gastronomic tasting stop in the Vipava Valley.

Day 5 : Piran

From the wine valleys to the colourful waters of the Adriatic. Heading south to Piran. On the way, visit Izola and Koper. A little jewel of the Adriatic, you will then appreciate the authenticity of Piran, its dynamic character and its heterogeneous population. Visit the city’s important squares, meeting places of the inhabitants, winding alleys, Venetian houses and the Minorite monastery. A great panoramic view opens at the top of the hill, where the church of St. George dominates the town. From this point you can see Slovenia, Croatia and Italy at the same time. Day 6 : Bovec

On the way to the Triglav valley, its mountains and rivers. Join the region bordering Italy and discover the Vipava Valley, the birthplace of Slovenian wine and then the Goriska Brda vineyard hills. Take the road back to Tolmin, famous for its paragliding sites and surrounding nature. Visit the gorges (1 hour walk) and Most na Soci, which offers a splendid panorama of the lake. Day 7 : Kobarid

Hiking tour in the Triglav National Park. Day to discover the region, with the Julian Alps in the background, the Soca River below and the Triglav National Park all around. Ascent of the Vrsic Pass, then on to Kranjska Gora and on to the Vintgar Gorge (1,600 m of footbridges spanning the Radovna over rapids and pools). Arrival in Bled where you will be surprised by this landscape straight out of a fairy tale. We continue to Bohinj and its lake, an ideal stopover for any traveller, passing through the Pokljuka plateau, known worldwide for its biathlon site. Overnight in a 4-star Boutique Hotel. Day 10 : Bohinj

Free day, without a guide, to enjoy the surroundings of Lake Bohinj according to your wishes. It is a paradisiacal place for any nature-loving traveller.

– To visit Bled and its lake a few kilometres away.
– To go for a full-day panoramic tour of the Triglav National Park, going through Tolmin, Bovec, Kranjska Gora and the Vintgar Gorge.
– To rent some bikes for a tour in the surrounding areas of the lake, some paddles or a canoe to navigate on its colourful waters.
– To take the cable car up to Vogel to enjoy the panoramic view and hike on the Triglav mountain paths.

Day 11 : Bohinj

Full-day hiking tour in the surroundings of Bohinj. Hike of 1h30 to discover the Savica waterfall. Then take the cable car up to the Vogel station to admire the spectacular panorama, surrounded by the Triglav mountains and charming villages that have preserved their traditional trades, especially in agriculture. Day 12 : Bohinj

One hour hot air ballooning overflight over the Triglav National Park. A unique experience to observe Bled and its mountains, seen from the sky. Starting from Bled, this activity gives you its first sensations when inflating a balloon. Sunrise at take-off to observe the soft morning light bathing the mountains. The views are spectacular. Your pilot will provide you all the information about the landscape below and all around. After the soft landing you are offered the traditional Bled cream cake, a glass of champagne and tea/coffee.
