Day 1 : Split

Arrival at Split Airport and first contact with Croatia. Collection of your vehicle inside the airport. First kilometres in your vehicle. Drive to the centre of Split. Check-in at the hotel. Rental of a economic E-Class vehicle, type Volkswagen Polo 1.2 or similar , including:

Day 2 : Split

All the pleasures of Dalmatia: wine tasting and Venetian cities. Short drive to the Venetian city of Sibenik. Free visit of the old town and its magnificent medieval quarter whose immaculate stone buildings are reflected in the calm waters of its bay. Continuing along the coast, you will enjoy panoramic views and small charming villages such as Primosten. Afterwards, you will arrive in Trogir in the middle of the narrow streets to discover the rich history of this island town protected by UNESCO. Its Greek, Roman and Venetian history makes it one of the most interesting historical oases on the Adriatic coast. Admire the masterpieces of local sculptors. The many palaces with their history are just some of the things that will impress you on this tour through the beautiful streets of this quiet little town. Highlights: The famous St. Lawrence Cathedral, the remains of the city walls, Cipiko Palace, the Loggia and the Clock Tower, Kamerlengo Castle and St. Mark’s Tower, the many narrow streets, etc. Return to Split at the end of the day. Wine tasting in a vineyard next to Trogir, accompanied by a small meal containing some local specialties including appetizers, risotto, salads, and desserts Overnight in a 4-star villa in an authentic preserved neighbourhood in the surrounding of Split. Standard room.

Day 3 : Split

Explore the Island of Korcula, its sandy beaches and coves, its excellent wines and the charm of its old town. From Split drive to the ferry port. Boarding the ferry. Arrival at the ferry port of Vela Luka at the western end of the 47 km long island. Drive to the centre, to discover its authentic side and its landscapes of vineyards and hidden coves, meeting the maquis and forests of Aleppo pines, cypresses and oaks. Possibility to have lunch (not included) in a family restaurant on the terrace. On the menu: local specialities, cold meats, cheese and olive oil. A delight! Then on to Korcula or Lumbarda (depending on your hotel), a small village on the eastern tip of the island. Check-in at the hotel. Ferry from Split to Vela Luka on the island of Korcula. Crossing of about 2h40. Overnight in a 4-star hotel. Standard room with view of the sea.

Day 4 : Korcla Island

Excursion in private day service to visit the island of Korcula and taste its gastronomic specialties. In one day you will enjoy:

– an insight into the production of olive oil on the island…
– the view of the island by visiting the villages of Lumbarda, Vela Luka and the olive groves of Potirna
– the meeting of two olive oil producers, who share their stories and their passion with you.
– a tasting of delicious olive oil produced on the island
– a lunch at a rural farm

From Korcula, drive to the village of Lumbarda and visit an old oil mill. The journey then continues to Vela Luka, enjoying the views of the island. First stop at a producer specializing in flavoured oils and medicines based on natural ingredients. Then on to the olive grove of one of the most renowned olive oil producers on the island of Korcula. Tasting of the products and then lunch based on traditional sweet and savoury dishes, sprinkled with the island’s wine. Return to Korcula, passing by one of the oldest olive trees on the island. Day 5 : Korcla Island

Free day at Korcula. Opt for an in-depth discovery of the old town, a bike ride to Lumbarda, a gastronomic getaway in the island’s interior or a few hours of lazing on the beach.

Day 6 : Korcula island

Authentic immersion on the Peljesac Peninsula. Departure in the morning to reach the landing stage and reach the peninsula, known for its virgin nature and its crystalline sea offering a very rich underwater world. This peninsula, has as its backbone a mountainous chain culminating at 961 m of altitude at Mount Sveti Ilija. On the hillsides and at their feet grow vines that produce very famous wines. The journey from Orebic to Mali Ston is very pleasant. We cross the lands of the king of red vineyards, the plavac mali . On the road, discovery of idyllic creeks and some fishing villages. Arrival at Mali Ston after visiting Ston and its ramparts. Check-in at the hotel. Ferry from Domince to Orebic. Crossing of about 15 minutes. Gastronomic break. On the way, stop at the Grgic vineyard to visit the winery, the facilities and enjoy an excellent tasting of two premium wines. The winery is located in Trstenik on the Peljesac peninsula, with a stunning view over the Mediterranean Sea, north of the historic walls of the port of Dubrovnik, in the Southern wine region of Croatia. Day 7 : Pelješac Peninsula

Tasting break. Stop in the Mali Ston Bay for a gastronomic excursion which starts with a panoramic boat ride on a beautiful wooden boat across the bay to the oyster beds. You will not only have the opportunity to see and learn about oyster production, but also to taste some of the world’s best oysters drizzled with local wine in this beautiful setting. The oyster tasting on the boat includes: homemade “rakia” or myrtle liqueur, 3 oysters and a glass of wine. Gastronomic tasting break. On the road, stop in a Peninsula vineyard to visit the winery and facilities and enjoy an excellent tasting of several wines. Overnight in a 3-star hotel in the heart of Mali Ston. Economy room.

Day 8 : Mali Ston

Balcony on the Adriatic. From Mali Ston to Dubrovnik, walk along the Adriatic for 1 hour. Arrival in Dubrovnik.

Drive to the airport 2.5-3 hours before your flight. Return of your vehicle at the airport. Check-in and boarding. Very early meeting with your guide for a 2-hour private walking tour of Dubrovnik.
