Day 1 : Ljubljana

From the capital to the Slovenian mountain pastures. You leave the capital and head north to the Logarska Dolina region. Visit on the road to Kamnik and its beautiful medieval centre. Day 4 : Logarska Dolina

Day 5 : Ptuj

Meeting with your guide for a private tour of Ptuj, during 1.5 hours. Visit of the historical heart of the city where the Kurentovanje, the biggest carnival of the country, takes place every year in February, during 10 days. You overlook the valley and discover the wonderful red tile roofs of the city.

Day 6 : Ptuj

Crossing the regions of the Lower Carniola and White Carniola. The day’s drive gives you the opportunity to appreciate the hills watered by rivers and covered with forests. Characteristic hay driers, restored castles and small villages line your route. You will discover another facet of the country where slow travel makes sense, in addition to the various landmarks that will cross your path: the spa town of Rogaska Slatina, the castles of Podcetrtek and Otocec, the old town of Novo Mesto, the castle of Zuzemberk and the valley of the Krka River. Day 7 : Predjama Castle

Private hiking tour with your English-speaking guide for about 2 hours. The beautiful forests and Mount Nanos are a great playground for any hiking enthusiast. Your guide will take you to his garden among lush vegetation and unspoiled nature, kingdom of foxes, bears, lynx and wolves. Visit of the unusual Predjama Castle. Open tour (entrance tickets not included). 9 km from the Postojna Cave, the castle, hanging high on a cliff, reigns over the surroundings. The most famous inhabitant of the castle was undoubtedly the knight Erasmus of Predjama, who rebelled against the emperor’s obstinacy in the 15th century. Day 8 : Postojna

From the land of caves and bears to the colourful waters of the Adriatic. Heading south to Piran. On the way, visit Izola and Koper. A little jewel of the Adriatic, you will then appreciate the authenticity of Piran, its dynamic character and its heterogeneous population. Visit the city’s important squares, meeting places of the inhabitants, winding alleys, Venetian houses and the Minorite monastery. A great panoramic view opens at the top of the hill, where the church of St. George dominates the town. From this point you can see Slovenia, Croatia and Italy at the same time. Day 9 : Postojna

From the Karst to the Julian Alps through the wine valleys. Join the region bordering Italy and discover the Vipava Valley, the birthplace of Slovenian wine, and the Goriska Brda vineyard hills. This day will undoubtedly be one of your best memories in Slovenia. Take the road back to Tolmin, famous for its paragliding sites and its surrounding nature. Visit the gorge (1 hour walk) and Most na Soci, which offers a splendid panorama of the lake.

Continue to Kobarid and then Bovec. 15 min walk to admire the Boka waterfall before continuing to the Kluze fortress overlooking a 70 m ravine. Arrival in Bovec in the middle of the mountains. Overnight in a 3-star Hotel at the edge of the Triglav National Park. Standard room.

Day 10 : Bovec

Rafting tour on the turquoise blue waters of the Soča. Discover the natural beauty of a pristine river in an incredibly exciting way. An adventure of almost three hours over 8 km of waves and rapids awaits you. Let yourself be seduced by the exceptional beauty of the crystalline waters of the Soča.
