Day 1 : Podgorica
Arrival at Podgorica Airport and first contact with Montenegro. Collection of your vehicle inside the airport. Rental of an economical E-Class vehicle, 4/5 doors , type Chevrolet Aveo or Toyota Yaris , inclusive:

* Basic third party insurance. On the spot the renter will be able to propose you additional insurances if necessary. First emotions in the land of the black mountains. Road to the Ostrog Monastery, a religious monument in the heart of a cliff. Back on the northern road where the first kilometres offer incredible views of the Moraca canyon and promise a beautiful journey. Visit the monastery of the same name. At the end of the day, we continue on to Kolasin, a small town at the foot of the mountains of the Biogradska Gora National Park and an ideal base for visiting the surroundings and hiking. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in a traditional chalet in the surrounding of the city of Kolasin. Chalet (2 to 6 persons).

Day 2 : Kolasin
Full-day jeep 4×4 exploration tour of the Biogradska Gora National Park . A guided jeep tour is one of the best ways to go through the park and visit its incredible scenery. Travel through the attractive natural environment of the Bjelasica massif.

Day 3 : Kolasin
Free day in Kolasin. This stage is the starting point for many walks of a few hours, day hikes or treks of several days, in a magnificent natural environment. The 2-hour tour around the Biograska Gora Lake (easy walk) is a must. According to your wishes, you can opt for one or several activities ranging from hikes, outdoor activities or jeep tours.

Day 4 : Kolasin
From one National Park to the other: wonderful and intriguing mountains of Montenegro. Departure from Kolasin to go up to the north of the country. Discovery of the Biogradska Gora National Park. Easy walk of about 2 hours around the lake of Biograd, in a simply beautiful natural environment. Continuing northwards to discover the isolated monastery of Durdevica. Arrival at the bridge of the same name which crosses the Tara canyon. Impressive! You then enter the Durmitor, which offers its most beautiful landscapes and breathtaking panoramic views in front of you. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in a comfortable 3-star hotel in the very centre of Zabljak. Standard room.
Day 5 : Zabljak
Full-day hiking and exploration tour in the region, with visit of the Black Lakes, Barno and Zminje. Departure from Zabljak and beginning of the hike by the tour of the Black Lake, at the foot of the Durmitor massif. The landscapes are breathtaking. Ascent then to reach the glacial lakes of Durmitor, less known than the Black Lake but worth the detour. Return at the end of the day to Zabljak.

Day 6 : Zabljak
Free day in the Durmitor National Park.
We suggest the short hike around Lac Noir, a must in this little corner of paradise. From your hotel you reach the entrance of the Durmitor National Park. The tour around the lake offers a grandiose view of the Durmitor Park. One of Montenegro’s must-sees for sure. The landscapes are breathtaking.

Day 7 : Zabljak
From the northern mountains to the largest lake in the Balkans, including the Ostrog Monastery. Crossing the Durmitor National Park and panoramic descent to the canyon and lake of Piva. The winding road is spectacular and breathtaking. Stops at Lake Piva and then at the monastery of the same name before reaching the Ostrog Monastery, a religious monument in the heart of a cliff, the most beautiful in Montenegro. Continuation towards the south. Arrival on the shores of Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in a 3-star villa. One-bedroom villa (2+2 persons).
Day 8 : Skadar lake
Boarding on a small traditional boat for a 5-hour private sailing tour with our local guide on Lake Skadar, a true natural monument straddling Montenegro and Albania. The largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula, this body of water is also a grandiose ornithological reserve. You will sail among the water lilies and will be able to enjoy a dive from the boat driven by our Montenegrin captain. Lunch by the water in an inhabitant’s house. Overnight in a 3-star villa. Day 9 : Virpazar
From the grandiose Lake Skadar to the Adriatic coast. Drive south to settle down on the Adriatic coast, in the vicinity of Petrovac. Overnight in a 4-star hotel. Standard room with view of the mountains.
Day 10 : Petrovac
Old town of Stari Bar and its olive trees. Departure in the morning to follow the seaside for 40 km to Stari Bar. The region is full of olive trees (more than 100,000) millennia old. You can even observe the stari maslina, the oldest tree (2,000 years old) in continental Europe. In Stari Bar, in the past a Venetian then Turkish city, visit the old town and the ruins. Standing on a rocky promontory, the site offers a breathtaking panorama. Sea bath at the end of the day. Overnight in a 4-star hotel. Standard room with view of the mountains.
Day 11 : Petrovac
Ulcinj, a trip to Albania . A day dedicated to the discovery of the south of the country, almost bordering Albania. The city of Ulcinj gives an oriental air to this part of the country, where Orthodox monasteries rub shoulders with minarets and mosques. Cervantes is said to have been imprisoned here, a prison which has now become a hotel overlooking the small cove of Mala Plazha. As you discover the old city, as soon as the heat becomes strong, continue towards the magnificent thousand-year-old olive grove of Kaladanos and its beach which will leave no one indifferent, or Mala Plaza just under the city, or the Velika Plazha (Long Beach), 14 km of sand for the moment still wild and without construction. Day 12 : Petrovac
A day of multiple discoveries, from the coast you follow, to Lovcen via the famous descent of the Serpentine . From Petrovac, drive to the western part of the Skadar lake to overhang it until Rijeka Crnojevica, an enchanting and isolated place. Discovery of the village and the meanders of the fjord. Cetinje, former capital of the country and still today cultural capital, allows the curious to visit one of its many museums. You finally enter the Lovcen Park which offers Mediterranean vegetation before climbing up a winding road to the mausoleum of King Petar II Petrovic-Njegos, a huge statue. Before that, some 500 steps await you. Then you descend to the magical Mouths of Kotor by taking the famous Serpentine, a must for any traveller visiting the land of the Black Mountains. Day 13 : Bay of Kotor
Meeting with your guide for a 1.5 hours private city tour of the old city of Kotor. Wonderful Venetian town, nestled in a dark corner of the bay at the foot of the mountains, Kotor is yours to enjoy. The city is a medieval labyrinth of museums, churches, squares lined with cafés and Venetian palaces. The ramparts and the fortress give Kotor an air of another time.

Today, you discover, from the water, all the Bay of Kotor. Sailing on the fjord is an exciting visual experience. Departure from Kotor and walk to Notre-Dame-du-Rocher opposite Perast, one of the most beautiful places in the bay. Visit of the church and the museum. You can observe the impressive mountains that line the fjord before reaching Perast, a small romantic village nestled on the banks of the fjord. Visit the village freely before returning to Kotor.

Day 14 : Bay of Kotor
Full-day discovery of the Bay of Kotor (Perast, Tivat, Herceg Novi, etc.). In your travel diary, we will detail the essential stages, the small creeks, the places to have a coffee by the water and all that is necessary to spend an excellent day with a relaxed spirit. Depending on the timing of the previous or following days, free visit of the old town of Kotor. Overnight in a 2-star hotel by the water. Double room with small view of the sea.
