Dinaric Alps

The Tara River Canyon… What a wonderful sight! You just have to look at it to understand why it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Just imagine falling in the middle of watercourses and river streams along the deepest canyon in Europe… All of that surrounded by one of the Balkans’ most incredible natural display, the Durmitor National Park. Built between glaciers and forest massifs, mixing caves and sinkholes, covered in exceptional flora and fauna.

The Park’s landscapes are absolutely astonishing. Its breathtaking Black Lake and its famous bridge, that will give you an amazing view of the domain, are perfect examples of what it has to offer. A must-see. That’s probably what you’ll tell anybody asking you about Durmitor when you go back home. Is there anything else you would say?
