Central Bosnia
This picturesque region immerses you in the discovery of very diverse landscapes between the North, Herzegovina and the Sarajevo region. Central Bosnia is also home to beautiful riches such as the charming historic towns of Travnik or Jajce. The first is known for its medieval fortress, its Ottoman mosques, its colorful houses but also its delicious cheese.
The second was the former capital of Bosnia. It is also famous for its spectacular waterfall in the heart of the city. A stopover in this city, which was the birthplace of the former Yugoslavia, allows you to enjoy beautiful walks along the waterfalls and along the Pliva river, whose eponymous lake upstream is surrounded by nature.
Lovers of discovering traditional villages are not just delighted by the visits to Kresevo or Vranci, but also Visoko to discover its mysterious pyramid.
